Yesterday, I had come across these Scarlet red shrimp. I’ve never had them. So, being a shrimp addict and all… I couldn’t resist! These were huge! The same size as a U6 colossal shrimp and uniquely, red even prior to being cooked. I didn’t marinate it or season them… just washed, deveined and threw them on the grill. And oh wow! They were super sweet with a hint of ocean salt. Best paired with my lemony, garlicky, and spicy fish sauce.
List of Ingredients for the Fish Sauce:
3 gloves garlic
2 Thai Chili Peppers
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 Cup Granulated sugar
3/4 cup peeled lemon wedges (2 large lemons)
1/3 Cup fish sauce
